CMA Resolution 56/2026: corporate-governance amendments

Issued 6 May 2026; official decision body reviewed 19 October 2026 Articles 1-3 amend Module 15 and governance-report Appendix 2. General regularisation ends in 2026. Article 2-3 independence transition attaches to election after the existing board term at the first qualifying ordinary general meeting at least three months after issuance. Article 13-1 electronic governance forms apply from issuance. Official English and Arabic decision bodies verified through indexed CMA text. Full amendment annexes could not be retrieved; current numerical independence, committee composition and report-form details require the actual annex before reliance. Apply issuer and sector scope first. A general transition is not a delay to the immediate forms requirement.
